What's New?
December 2009
- For clarity, we now have separate search pages for public and
proprietary data. A public search will find ONLY public data. A
proprietary search will find both public and proprietary data,
i.e. everything that you are authorized to access.
- It is possible to search for reduced data products
constrained by the grouping algorithm, for example to search only
for products from single observations or from project-wide
groups.
- Frequency searching is available for ACSIS raw data. Under
"Target Constraints", you can now select from pick lists the
Molecule, Transition and Rest frequency that you are searching
for, or you can specify a range of rest frequencies.
The pick lists are updated directly from the database and will
allow you to find everything that is currently present, even if
the rest frequency does not match the nominal molecule and
transition. This can be quite handy because a common technique is
to offset the rest frequency from its nominal value to verify that
an observed line is in the signal sideband and is not an unrelated
transition in the image sideband.
- It is now possible to search for public and proprietary
SCUBA-2 data, both raw data and reduced products.
August 2009
- We have upgraded our database tables to provide a richer and
more consistent user interface. The CADC interface is being
developed to use the information in these tables correctly
(especially for frequency searching). Watch for updates!
- ACSIS reduced data is now available through the "Search for
Processed Data" page. If you wish to see only ACSIS
products, select Backend = "ACSIS" or one of the heterodyne
Frontends under "Instrument Information". For details on what is
currently available, see
"Standard Pipeline Processing".
June 2008
- Project
group administrators can now add and remove members beyond the PI
and Co-Is of their project to the group of people who are authorized to
access the project's proprietary data by selecting
JCMT Group Administration from
the "Related Links" menu. PIs are automatically group administrators
(provided they have registered their CADC userid with the JAC), and the JAC
staff can add addition group administrators on the request of the PI.
